Pick your own pumpkins this October at Piltown Pumpkin Patch
Come along and enjoy this event with all the family. Tickets are available on select days throughout October. Gerard grows all his own pumpkins and gourds right here at Ballymad Farm and there are thousands to choose from. We aren’t joking, we literally grow thousands. So, if you’re a carver, cooker, autumn decorator or just want a few cute pictures with our pumpkins, come and join us for a fun-filled day with the family. Tickets are go on sale each year from mid-August. Located along Piltown Road, Drogheda, A92 HK44 and only 5 minutes from the beaches of Laytown, Bettystown and Mornington. Food and drink truck available on site.
What to expect
You can expect a friendly welcome, some Halloween themed photo opportunities, a not so spooky woodland walk, plenty of pumpkins to choose from and a great time with the family on our farm.

FAQ’s
What about the weather?
We are on a farm. Please dress appropriately for all types of weather and wear your wellies!
Your ticket is non-refundable unless there is a Red weather warning in place on the day of the event.
We will contact you if this is the case to advise you the event has been cancelled and arrange a refund.
You must arrive at the time you booked your ticket for. Any late arrivals may be refused entry due to a limit on the number of people we can accept on the patch at once.
Is there parking?
There will be temporary a gravel car park on site for you to park your car only while you are attending the event. Please be aware that the event is held on a field , therefore access for wheelchairs and baby buggys will be very diffuclt, however we will leave this to your discretion.
Are there toilet facilities?
There will be toilets on site
Terms and Conditions
Ballymad farm reserves the right to close the woodland or tractor ride during farm events for safety .
Will there be food and drink?
We have a light snack and drink refreshment kiosk on site.
How long can we stay?
Your ticket gives you access to the farm at the specified time chosen. You must bring your ticket with you (printed or on your phone) to gain access to the Pumpkin patch. No ticket, No entry.
Can I bring my dog?
We do offer dog-friendly days. These are specially ticketed days. Please check our available tickets to see our dog friendly days.
Can I pay on the day?
Advanced booking only for the Pumpkin Patch, however we will have pumpkins for sale at the farm gate on weekdays.
